Sandfield offers a range of robust automotive power clamps. The housing is either steel or lighter weight aluminium and both NAAMS and DIN standard mountings are available. The clamps are slimline for increased gun access and the body protects the clamp mechanism from the weld spatter. A wide variety of pre machined arms are available offering different heights and offsets. The opening angles for the clamps are either customer specified and set with internal stops or as with the ’options’ clamp adjusted externally.
The clamps are available as either locking clamps or wedge action; the wedge action clamps enable the clamp to clamp components of variable thickness. Electrical proximity switches protected with the head of the clamp are standard but pneumatic sensing options are also available on request.
